Welcome to RiseVerse!

Before you dive in, let's go over the ground rules for using our platform at https://riseverse.com. By accessing or using RiseVerse, you agree to these terms. If something doesn't sit right with you, please don't use our services.

1. How you can use our platform

RiseVerse is designed for professionals - freelancers, designers, developers, agencies, and teams. You can use our components for your work, whether that's personal projects or client work. Premium subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel.

We have usage limits in place that are designed to be fair and prevent abuse:

• Without an account: 25 component copies per day
• Free account: 50 component copies per day
• Paid accounts: Unlimited with reasonable rate limiting (15 per minute)

If you're using RiseVerse on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind them to these terms.

2. Your account

Creating an account requires a valid email address. Keep your credentials secure - you're responsible for all activity under your account. Each account is designed for individual use. For teams, use our Team plan which provides proper collaboration features for 3-50 users.

If we detect suspicious activity or violations of these terms, we may need to suspend or terminate your account to protect the platform and other users. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

3. Content & ownership

Any content you create using RiseVerse components belongs to you. You retain ownership of your implementations, customizations, and projects. When you share content on our platform, you grant us permission to display it.

Share only content you have the right to share. Don't upload anything inappropriate, illegal, or that violates others' rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines.

4. Our intellectual property

The RiseVerse platform, component library, and brand assets belong to RiseVerse, SAS. Your subscription grants you usage rights according to your plan tier, but doesn't transfer ownership. You can use components in unlimited personal and commercial projects, including client work. For specific usage restrictions, see prohibited uses below.

5. Account termination

You can cancel your subscription anytime through your Stripe customer portal. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.

We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or our License Agreement. We'll provide 7 days notice for standard violations, allowing time to remedy the issue. For severe violations (fraud, abuse, illegal activities), we may terminate immediately.

Upon account termination, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. We recommend exporting any important bookmarks or collections before closing your account.

6. Your data

We only store data necessary to run the platform: your bookmarked components, usage statistics, and preferences. This helps us personalize your experience and show you how RiseVerse improves your workflow.

We don't collect or store unnecessary personal information. All data is deleted when you close your account. For detailed information about data handling, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Refund policy

We offer a 7-day no-questions-asked refund policy for all plans, including annual and lifetime purchases. To request a refund within 7 days, cancel your subscription in your Stripe customer portal and request a refund - it will be processed automatically.

For exceptional circumstances beyond the 7-day window, email us at refund@riseverse.com. We'll consider these requests case-by-case - we aim to be fair and reasonable. Refunds are processed in the same currency you were charged (USD or EUR).

9. Billing details

Billing starts immediately when you subscribe. Monthly plans renew every 30 days, annual plans every 365 days. All payments are processed securely through Stripe - we never see your credit card details.

Current pricing:

• Free plan: No cost, limited features
• Pro: $39/month or $29/month billed annually
• Team: $99/month or $79/month billed annually
• Lifetime: $589 one-time payment

If a payment fails, we'll attempt to retry. If payment cannot be processed, your account will be downgraded to the free tier.

10. DMCA & copyright

All content on RiseVerse is either owned by us or properly licensed. We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same.

If you believe any content infringes your copyright, please email dmca@riseverse.com with details. We'll respond within 5 business days and take appropriate action after reviewing your claim in good faith.

11. Liability & warranties

RiseVerse components are provided "as is". While we strive for quality, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or fitness for every need. In the unlikely event our service causes you direct damages, our financial liability is limited to refunding your last month's payment. This doesn't apply where law prohibits such limitations.

You're responsible for testing components in your specific use case. Some jurisdictions provide additional consumer protections that cannot be waived.

12. Updates to these terms

We may update these terms as our service evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via email with at least 30 days notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. As a French company, we operate under EU's strong consumer protection and privacy laws, providing robust safeguards for your rights. Any disputes will be resolved in French courts, specifically in Paris jurisdiction. We prefer to resolve issues amicably through direct communication first.

RiseVerse is operated by RiseVerse, SAS, a French company registered at 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

15. Entire agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, License Agreement, Cookie Policy, and Accessibility Statement, constitute the entire agreement between you and RiseVerse regarding the use of our services. This agreement supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.
