• httpOnly - Authentication cookies can't be accessed by JavaScript (prevents stealing)
• Secure - Cookies only work over encrypted connections (HTTPS)
• SameSite - Built-in protection against cross-site attacks (CSRF protection)
• Signed - All cookies are digitally signed to detect tampering

5. Third-party services

We work with carefully selected services that may set their own cookies. We chose these partners for their strong privacy practices and essential functionality.

Services that may set cookies:

• Stripe - Sets __stripe_sid cookie for 30 minutes to prevent fraud (only during checkout)
• Crisp - Sets crisp-client/* cookies for 6 months to maintain conversation history (only when chat is open)

These services don't track you across the web. They operate under their own privacy policies, which we've reviewed for strong privacy practices.

6. Cookie consent banner

When you first visit RiseVerse, our cookie banner explains our cookie usage. Essential cookies are always active (the platform can't work without them). Functional cookies are optional but recommended for convenience - they save your theme preference and login method.

The banner stores your choice in the riseverse.cookie_consent cookie. You can change your preference anytime by clearing cookies and refreshing the page.

If you decline functional cookies, the platform works fine but you'll need to set your preferences each time you visit.

7. Browser compatibility

RiseVerse works best with Chrome. Also works great with Edge, Firefox, and other Chromium-based browsers. Safari is not recommended for the best experience. The clipboard API has limitations that prevent reliable copying of components to Webflow.

8. Do Not Track

We respect Do Not Track signals. Since we only use essential and functional cookies, not tracking cookies, DNT doesn't affect your experience. We never use advertising or tracking cookies regardless of your DNT settings.

9. Updates to this policy

We may update this cookie policy as our services evolve or regulations change. Check the "Last updated" date at the top to see when this policy was last modified. For significant changes that affect how we use cookies, we'll notify you via email or through a platform notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
